Anthony and Haley’s Colorado elopement was the perfect mix of adventure, emotion and adventure.
We started in Breckenridge, headed up to Loveland Pass for their first look, and within minutes found ourselves racing a snowstorm coming over the mountains. Instead of forcing the plan, we pivoted – ending up saying their vows just off the side of the road near Dillon Reservoir, surrounded by fog and snow.
It wasn’t what we expected… but it was perfect.
The next day, we hiked through deep snow to Mayflower Gulch for their portraits – freezing, laughing, and taking in some of the most incredible views Colorado has to offer.
From pizza and cake in their hotel room to photos in a snowy parking lot, this day was a reminder that elopements aren’t about perfection.
They’re about experience.
