I might be a little biased – okay, I’m definitely biased but Romania is one of the most beautiful and underrated places to get married in Europe.

Romania has mountaintops that feel like the Alps, romantic castles, open flower fields, and forest trails, all within a few hours of each other.
Some of my favorite areas to shoot in are Cluj, Șimleu, Zalău, Braşov and the Transylvania region in general. You can get a luxury wedding venue, or a barefoot ceremony in a wildflower field. The variety is unreal.

The area around it is just as beautiful, with Sinaia and Peleș Castle offering another romantic backdrop surrounded by the Bucegi Mountains.
